LeafDoc AI Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of LeafDoc. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The Service

LeafDoc lets you photograph plant leaves for an AI-generated diagnosis and provides farming tools: weather advice, weekly crop prices, government-scheme information, crop calendar, pest guide, soil, irrigation, profit and spray-mix calculators, a livestock health checker, and a community for farmers.

2. AI Diagnosis — No Guarantee

• Results are produced by an artificial-intelligence model (Google Gemini) and may be incomplete or incorrect.
• Treatment suggestions are general. Only use products registered for your crop in your country, at the dose on the label, with protective equipment, and respect waiting times before harvest.
• You are responsible for decisions you make on your farm. We are not liable for crop loss, animal loss, or other damage resulting from use of a diagnosis or tool.

3. Farm Tools and Information

• Market prices come from public sources (European Commission, UN FAO, Agmarknet) and are updated weekly. They may be delayed, averaged, converted between currencies, or differ from prices in your local market.
• Weather advice is based on forecasts (Open-Meteo) and can change.
• Calculators (profit, spray mix, fertilizer, irrigation) give estimates from the numbers you enter.
• Government schemes are summaries checked on official websites on the date shown; rules, amounts and deadlines change. Always confirm on the official website before applying.
• Livestock Health Check matches symptoms to a list of common diseases. It is not a veterinary diagnosis. For notifiable diseases you must contact your official veterinary service as required by law.

4. Accounts

• Some features (Community, chat, friends) require signing in with Google. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity on it.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Community.
• You can delete your account at any time — see Delete Your LeafDoc Account.

5. Community Rules

When you post, answer or chat, you agree not to:

• Post illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or misleading content
• Advertise, sell or promote pesticides, medicines or other products, or post spam
• Recommend banned or unregistered chemicals, or dangerous doses
• Share other people’s personal information without permission
• Impersonate others or post content you don’t have the right to share

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report posts and block users in the app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or delete the accounts responsible, without notice. Before your first post you are asked to agree to these rules.

6. Your Content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give WebNovaHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute that content within LeafDoc so the Community can work. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account (except copies already shared by others or kept for legal reasons).

7. Ads and Paid Features

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob and has a daily scan limit. If we offer paid features or subscriptions, the price and terms will be shown before purchase, and purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. Subscriptions can be cancelled in your store account.

8. Acceptable Use

Do not reverse-engineer the app, bypass its security or scan limits, use automated tools to access our services, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The app uses services from Google (Firebase, Gemini, AdMob), Open-Meteo and others, and links to YouTube, government and veterinary websites. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

11. Changes and Termination

We may change these Terms or the app. Material changes will be announced in the app. You may stop using the app at any time; we may suspend access for breaches of these Terms.

11a. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you downloaded LeafDoc from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and WebNovaHub only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual-property claims). If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Your use must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
